I've got an ornate little picture frame sitting next to me as I write this. Right now, it sits empty... an invitation for the universe to bring that special someone into my life. I was so tempted to say "Right now, it sits empty... the perfect picture of my life without you" but that would be schmaltzy, and untrue. Although I do believe that filling the frame would fill my life with colour and depth (also schmaltzy... but true).

I’m looking for an amazing friendship with chemistry... something that might bloom into what would probably make a boring romance novel, since most of the conflict would be missing (meaning that drama queens, control freaks, and self righteous prigs can keep on trollin').

I really like: to dance (but only to stuff that gets into my blood… which these days seems mostly to be hip hop), the theatre (watching, writing, directing, and acting), nature (fishing, canoeing, hiking), kids, animals, and reading.

I’m not much interested in shallow relationships (i.e. those that are driven by one thing... even if the one thing is great sex, or having a lot of fun).

Suprisingly intelligent at times, incredibly "thick" at others, I'm a handyman, a "touchy feely" guy, talented, a gifted gardener, and sensuous... and I make great lasagna, chapati, and omelettes (that's my repertoire; attempts at anything else may result in a call to Poison Control).
