I decided to simplify this...

What I am like:
-loyal to my family and friends. My five-year old son is my first priority in life. He is charming, affectionate and very intelligent but you won't see a photo of him though, or meet him unless things progress because I don't believe in involving him in my dating life
-introverted at first, extroverted once I get to know you
-am very happily immature
-have a twisted, sometimes sarcastic (but always in good fun) sense of humour
-I work hard...am currently working towards my third undergraduate degree

What I like:
-music - I prefer indie music because to me it sounds more like music when it isn't as digitized, but there are a lot of mainstream bands that I enjoy as well. I tend to lean towards rock, modern jazz, punk and a kind of emo sound. I have a particular infinity for British music and I prefer to see music live in smaller venues. I hate rap/hip hop with a passion.
-nature - I prefer being outside to inside. I love hiking, kayaking and camping. I used to play golf to the competitive level, though this has unfortunately fallen to the side in recent years (too many commitments on my time).
-writing - I love to compose lines of badly written prose but I'm not the sharing type. You'll definitely catch me waxing philosophical though, or asking strange research questions.

What I am looking for:
-someone who enjoys children (a bonus if you have kids).
-I like guys who like music (a bonus if you can make music)
-I like creativity in whatever form or fancy it takes...I like people who can think outside the 3ft by 3ft box called life
-I like a guy who has a life of his own. I'm a busy person but I always make time for the important people in my life. That being said, I believe in quality over quantity.
-I like public displays of affections

What I dislike:
-chances are if you have a photo of yourself flexing muscles...we aren't going to hit it off
-if your homepage is Perez Hilton or TMZ...move along please
