Thought it was about time for an update. The last 6 months have kept me really busy training for and completing my first Ironman in Switzerland. Within 3 days of finishing my race, I started asking myself “what next”? The prospects excite me: what new sport can I learn, what new qualification can I earn, what dance class can I take next, how much missed partying can I catch up on, and what great new people can I meet?

As you can see, I’m quite ambitious. If I say I’m going to do something, I do it. Some might also call this stubborn, which I can’t exactly deny. My stubbornness is likely the reason that I have not purchased a car yet in the 2.5 years that I have been living in CA; I feel the need to prove that it is possible to get around LA County without a car.

Overall, I’d say I’m a pretty positive and down to earth girl, minimal makeup, minimal interest in fashion. I love to be active and I’ll play just about any sport you throw at me, my favorites being volleyball, waterpolo, frisbee and anything on the water. I love the beach and the sun, this is what lured me here from the cold Canadian winter. Traveling excites me as well, and I can’t wait to pick my next destination!

I’m looking for a partner in crime with whom I can enjoy being active, traveling, and having heated debates about anything and everything. I’m attracted to ambition and maturity, and a great smile doesn’t hurt!
