I'll try to sum it up an a nutshell. I grew up in a dusty town called Bakersfield CA until I was fourteen, then I moved to a little town called Roseville CA, -maybe you've heard of it? After high school I went into the USAF as a military police officer for several years.

With the USAF and thereafter, I have traveled abroad to many places both inside and outside of the US. I have enjoyed each country/state I have traveled to immensely! There is nothing like culturing yourself with the reality of an "in place" experience to actually learn first hand how life outside of your own back yard actually looks, feels, smells and functions.

A trip through the mind of a significant other is just as much an intriguing travel too! It's very interesting to hear another's view on the world that surrounds us all... socially, politically and otherwise.

I have quite the dry humor that some people don't catch onto until they get to know me better. I enjoy slapstick comedy. I love a good suspenseful horror flick. I love stand up comedy. I am a music junkie! I used to DJ clubs and parties, but now my turntables are a great hobby for me to just waste idle time and clear my head of day to day monotony (especially after a long day at work). I love a good political/socially commentary book on modern day figures and/or issues.

My perfect match would be a beautiful woman who sees the importance of a close family circle. One who is understanding & carefree. A lady who likes to take an occasional chance at being unorthodox and pushing the limits of "normal". One who loves animals and seeks music to massage the mood of her soul, be it in good or bad times. She would love to hang with my family/friends/coworkers and I to BBQ or watch some UFC fights or other sporting events (i.e. football and basketball). A lady who has the natural propensity to nurture, yet also understands another person's need/request for healthy "alone" time. A lady who prefers impeccable hygiene (hair, nails, home... etc.). One who is also okay with hitting the lake/river for a quick swim on a hot Sacramento day or getting dirty in the mountains while camping and riding a quad or some dirtbikes. I would hope she enjoys history and politics... and cares about current events and how they affect us in todays world- and is interested to discuss those issues with me (I always enjoy anothers insight/opinion).

The above is a "wish list", if you will... I am open and willing to expect that I cannot have ALL that I hope for in meeting my "perfect match"... and I am down to earth enough to accept and cherish a partner that can accomodate a few of my "wishes", while I compromise with some of the other hopes of mine.

Last and most importantly... a lady who is down to earth and can understand that who I am now- is who I will probably always be... my personality has been years in the making and there is not a whole lot of input that can change my point of view at this point. *-However, I am always looking for that different point of view... after all- isn't that what keeps us all grounded?

Every interpersonal opportunity has its own characteristic and feel for a potential experience... so we'll have to see which direction our contact gravitates us towards.
