I believe that the secret of happiness is enjoying life's simple pleasures. I also think that being bored is just a matter of being too lazy to find something to do.

I enjoy good chat, food, bear, wine, music (rap is not music), drama (on TV or live), walks with my dogs, reading, a beautiful view, etc. etc.

This may be some peoples idea of boring, hence the name, and if its yours then I hope you find what your looking for.

Having become a widower after 27 years of marriage has brought home just how many of these simple pleasures are best enjoyed by two. I would like to find a new life partner, given half the chance, but I would also love to make new single female friends and the idea of going on a date again is very exiting if a bit scary.

Most people who get to know me find me to be like-able, kind and trustworthy, would you like to find out for your self?

My spelling is appalling so I am a bit slow at typing legibly, my degree is in maths and I have made my living as a computer programmer for years (so either I am thick or dyslexic, you decide).

The only things that I don't like are aggression, intolerance, dishonesty and show off's (actually Heinz tomato soup and broad beans as well).
