Description (Mandatory) - you mean I actually have to describe myself? I thought the site just knew what I was like and magically generated my ideal date. Maybe that was some other site.

I'm a redhead with glasses who knows anything about nothing and nothing about anything. I do have a sense of humor, though a lot of it shows up through sarcasm and how I say things. I'm usually willing to try anything once (and then run away screaming), but some of my more interesting experiences have been due to no knowledge of what I'm doing beforehand. While I do try to keep my promises and do what I say I will, I'm also likely to decide to do something 5 minutes before it happens. Many times I decide to go out and then leave once I can get my shoes on.

Hobbies, let's see - the most recent attempt has been at photography. I need to find more things to take pictures of though - fireworks are great, but only happen once or twice a year, and there's only so much scenery before it all looks the same. Otherwise, I seem to spend a lot of time either at work or just doing misc. chores at home. Sometimes I wish the day was shorter, and sometimes it's already too short.

Music - there's some quote about music being the window to the soul. In that case I really wonder what mine looks like. I enjoy having music around, even if it's just background noise. I'll listen to pretty much any kind of music, but if I'm the one picking CD's, I tend to avoid rap and country. I think the best description for my main likes is pop/rock, but I'm not sure. Type Eye of the Tiger into Pandora and you'll get a good start at least.

I'm not really sure who I'm looking for. I haven't had the chance to make a lot of mistakes yet, so I'm pretty much lost half the time. I figure that the best way to get to know someone is to be friends with them first, but I've also heard that doesn't work so well (something about getting stuck at the friend stage, which is starting to be the story of my life I think). I want someone that I can talk to and carry on an intelligent conversation with. I enjoy discussing things and need someone who can have their own opinion and knows what they believe. Smoking is defintely something that bugs me. I don't usually mind talking to people while they smoke, but for anything other than that, I'd say it's a definite no-no. Beyond that, I'd say appearance can matter, but it's more about the general look of a person than any specific characteristic.

For a first date, probably something simple like go for a walk or get a snack somewhere (I love ice cream). I really want to just get to know someone before doing too much with them. Beyond that, anything's game. I can cook (assuming you like spaghetti) and enjoying listening to live music, so maybe either supper at home and a movie or going out and hunting down some food and music downtown. Unfortunately, I think all of the concerts at the Town Clock are over for the year.
