I'm a huge fan of spontaneity. Yes, I hold a masters degree and am gainfully employed. No I don't drink (much) wine or want to go to the opera. Bottle rockets and brown liquor are more my style. I haven't had a TV in nearly a decade. It feels like an excuse to act lazy. I'd much rather cure my insomnia doing something social. In spite of this, I'm really kind of an introvert. In a crowd, just look for the tall quite guy who hasn't shaved for a while. At home you'll usually find me reading or watching my fish with some music playing, probably with an empty bottle nearby. At the moment I have a condo here in Hoffman Estates with a room mate. She's happily pursuing an alternate lifestyle. My taste in music runs wild. Some favorites include The Tossers, Distillers, Golgo Bordello, Flogging Molly, Johnny Cash and John Prine with some Edith Piaf thrown in for good measure. I never really listen to hip hop by choice but don't necessarily mind it. Whatever the type live music is pretty much always better than recorded. I work in the admissions department of a university. This takes up most of my time. It's a feel good type job, but not terribly exciting. You should be exciting. One day I'll go back for the PhD and become a Professor. I volunteer to walk dogs for the local no-kill shelter. I'll do you no wrong but if bad karma were stored in a bucket, mine would be overflowing. This has mostly to do with my business practices and attempting to mix them with pleasure.
