Just a thought, and not a bitter thought, but am I a dying breed of 40ish actually wanting to be in a meaningful monogomous relationship that has everywhere to go in a positive direction? Seems that too many "want" that LTR but fear it due to past relationships. YES I am a GREAT father to a young child but I am well balanced in my life. Don't fear what the heart desires. Follow your heart and allow the possibility of LOVE to give you the security in knowing you can and will be loved as you deserve.
Ok, why are we here? To find someone to share in adding substance to our life. What am I looking for? Good question, but first let me start by saying that I am a single father of a great 6 yr old son. I am divorced, the primary parent and share custody with an every other week schedule. I am not looking for a mother for my son, we do just fine, not looking for a cheap fling, to play the field or make promises to get into bed with you.
What I am looking for is an equal, someone who has made it through this life thus far knowing that “we” don’t always get “our” way, and flexibility, communication, understanding, and an open mind are just a few of the traits we need so we all can just “get along”. Ultimately, I would love to meet my soul mate, that ONE equal who gets me, needs me, wants me, and cherishes me as I WILL HER. But, if we can manage to find other qualities in each other that tickle our fancy then great. Like I said, I’m not looking for a one night stand. I love to show affection and do, you are the same as well, doing so effortlessly...a bonus when 2 hearts are as ONE.
A little more about the man I am, I turned 47 on Feb. 22, 2008 (Pisces and definitly on the Aquarius cusp), could stand to loose some weight (who can’t), 5’11”, dark short hair, gotee, earring, a couple cool tattoo’s (left arm is half sleeved), great smile, passionate LOVER (not a taker, definitely a “giver”), great career, financially stable, jokester, a best friend, someone you can trust, count on, take home to the folks, and have special times together.
Now, for the “what I’m looking for” part. I am looking for someone who takes pride in her appearance, attractive, an intelligent woman (common sense), who would appreciate having someone to share her life with....me. You want to feel loved, sharing in showing it. Are you single and looking for an uncomplicated partnership? Looking for that special connection with someone whom may be a life partner? If any of these questions fit you then WE need to talk, and sooner than later...so reach out. You read all this and survived...only next “best” thing to do would be contact me...let’s see what evolves. It doesn't happen instantly BUT for goodness sakes, if it feels good, feels right then don't run from it, savor it, enjoy it, grow with it, find out if it's the REAL DEAL.
