*About Me*:
Tom here! Grayslake, what?? I just bought a house within walking distance of Wisconsin and Great America (not really, but it sure feels like it). I still head into the city pretty frequently, but it was time to stop paying rent! I know that the best relationships are had when the two people are best friends and want the best for each other. Communication, Honesty, and Compromise are the three most important things to me in a relationship.

The first three things about me that people notice are 1) Height 2) Eyes 3) Teeth. The last one used to surprise me, but I've actually started wanting good teeth in someone i date too. It's not really one of those deal-breakers where you toss someone away who is otherwise a fantastic person, but there's something about nice, straight, white teeth. Maybe just because I enjoy seeing people smile :) I'm at the gym pretty much every day, and I'm trying to work up the energy to ride my bicycle to work at least once before it snows!

I hope to find someone who shares similar (but not identical) values in life. I'm a big proponent of equality in a relationship. What that means is obviously something that defines itself as we get to know each other, but for a first date, don't be shocked if we split the bill. I've come to realize that I want to find someone who doesn't have their life planned out, because I don't either. I know the general direction my life is going, and yes, I'd reach whatever destination that takes me just fine on my own. I don't have this ideal plan or niche carved out that I want someone to fill, and I don't want to try to fill that mold for someone else either. I want to figure out our plans together, make a path together, and work together to get there. I want to find the perfect PERSON with whom to create the perfect life. Yeah, I think that's the best way I can put it for now.
