For me one of the most important things in a relationship is understanding one another intellectually without that there just can't be that spark. And thats one reason why I haven't had a long term girlfriend. Also u have to be able to open up to one another insecurities and all because how do u exspect it to last through hard times if u don't really know the whole person.

I don't think what you do is that important, as long as you enjoy yourself and have a good time with your date.
