| | I'm a city girl at heart, whose love of family, faith, and friends permits me to set goals, fulfill dreams, and enjoy life. I try to take time off work to go to the beach in the summer and drive through the mountains in the fall and winter. Listening to the waves, watching the sunset, just breathing the crisp clean air bring peaceful rejuvenation. I've traveled overseas a bit, seen exotic places, but it always makes me appreciate coming home each time.
I am a believer in looking up and reaching out. Being able to cook or serve at a shelter or help build a habitat house bring me great joy.

I've had some interesting first dates from walking in the park to having lunch in the office cafeteria. I prefer that first dates be kept simple: dining outdoors, meeting for coffee or a margarita, or even meeting at a piano bar all sound good to me.
I went on a blind (first) date once where my date suggested dinner and a movie, only to find out that the movie was playing at a dollar theater-not his idea of a great first impression, but we had a great time.
