I am a therapist who has recently become semi-retired. I value good communication, humor, and positive energy in my friends and strive to follow suit. I like to write, practice fit living, eat out, listen to music, socialize with friends and be in a satisfying monogamous relationship. I have been told that I am easy to be with.

I don't enjoy listening to people who promote themselves, religion, or bizarre beliefs.

I don't like sexist language and behavior or bigotry. Although I am an ex Marine I am for gun control.

I have liberal leanings but I am not however, a political extremist and value independent thinking.

I enjoy HBO (shows like "In Treatment") Music I prefer is R&B, classical and Motown. I like to dance and continue being open to new experiences.

Sort of cliche' but I like looking for similarities rather than differences in others while continuing to learn about, and explore, the human condition.

I try not to miss the funny stuff. Stimulating conversation that enhances connectedness with the people in my life is a great turn on for me. I try to do my part.

I would enjoy getting together at a comfortable restaurant with nice ambiance and good food. I would like privacy for both of us and easy conversation. I would do my best to make my date feel comfortable.
