Life is too short, and the search for what we want in a partner, for most of us, seems to be mercilessly long. Anything worth having, is indeed, worth working for. I learn from my mistakes, and am looking for someone who is free of his past and ready to commit fully to a new future.

I know that the right person is out there, but I can't be sure if or when I will find him. In the meantime, I am loving the freedom I have to meet people and make new friends. Oh, the stories we could tell! (chuckle) I can take care of myself, not looking for a free ride. Having said that, I think that life alone isn't as worthwhile as sharing it. I am ambitious, responsible and focused. I don't care how much money you have or make. I mean, let's face it, we all take a hit after a divorce, which is why most of us our age are on this site. What I care about is that you work hard at whatever you do, derive some sort of satisfaction from the time you spend at it and can handle your resources. It is about teamwork, and thriving together...hard work simply builds character.

One significant thing I have done with my life, is being close to having raised three of the most amazing human beings God ever put on this earth. I have very much enjoyed motherhood...would whole-heartedly support a man who values being an effective, loving father.

I enjoy conversation, humor, even quick-witted banter. I can be somewhat chatty...which, apparently unnerves more introverted types. I don't want to have to pull teeth to get you to talk with me. I will not use your words as a weapon against you.

I believe that before playing the game, one should read the manual. Every relationship between a man and woman entials a certain element of gameplay. This isn't to say that anyone has the right to manipulate another for the sheer entertaiment of it, nor does it excuse dishonesty. Communication is vital, understanding that the genders will always, ALWAYS baffle one another. Thus creating the mystery that attracts us so powerfully.

I am active, love the outdoors and appreciate my health. I enjoy giving and recieving attention and affection. I am playful and responsive to my senses. I am naturally curious and I am looking for someone confident and comfortable with his sensuality, adventurous and authoritative, in a respectful way. Someone who can capture and contain my interest; who is genuinely interested in getting to know me, and who is comfortable sharing himself fully with me too.

I am looking for someone who lives close to me, because I have learned that time is the most important element of growing any healthy relationship. I would prefer to physically be with someone, than chat online or by telephone. I learn and share better in person, value touch, facial expressions and non-verbal communication.

I am passionate and aggressive about what matters to me. My family, my faith, my country, politics, music (especially live), creativity, consideration. I have a compassionate soul and a submissive spirit. I value people and still, after all the heartache and disappointment...seek to find the best in each one. I don't beleive in karma, I do beleive in survival of the fittest. I think WAAAAAAAAAAYY too much.

My favorite place is the riverwalk, and I never get tired of going. There is a beautiful park to sit and talk, we could grab coffee or a drink. It is easy to make the meeting as short or long as we like. The environment is festive and exciting. Downtown really represents the spirit and culture of San Antonio and there is always something to do.
