I'm still a little skeptical about internet dating, but i figured, why not. Just looking to meet some new people, and possibly more. I'm single, never married, no children, but I am open to the possibility of having them someday, but not necessary. I'd like to fall in love, get married, and THEN have kids, that order. And if it happens on this site, then so be it!

I don't smoke or do drugs. Hardly ever drink. I love being simple but romantic. I'm laid-back, but completely interested in current events of the day. I enjoy going out to eat, playing sports, watching movies, or just being together on the couch with a blanket watching some fall football. I'm 5'10" and 175. I like to be athletic and stay in shape, but not overdue it. I like dogs AND cats, but I don't have any pets of my own.

I was actually born in Tampa, but I grew up in Atlanta. I've been living in Kentucky and North Carolina for a while, spent a year in Tampa. Back in Tampa. Transitioning to a new job. I have a LOT of family in the area, and that is key for me- being connected to my past. I don't think that I want to move again! :) I'm also a Christian, so that's important, too, in a life partner. I go to church and my faith is a big part of who I am. I have an engineering degree and a masters degree in theology.

Wow. A first date. I think a first date should be simple. Someplace quiet, but public, where you can sit and get to know one another, over some coffee or lunch. If things go well, then maybe add something creative to the end of it. But really, first dates shouldn't linger, unless both people are enjoying themselves. I always believe that a person should have an out, especially if it's not going well.

But I'm a romantic at heart. I love a stroll on the beach, laying in a hammock with a glass of wine, watching a sunset, getting flowers for a girl for no reason, opening doors, secret signs across the room, appropriate public displays of affection, enjoying the Fall in the mountains, traveling together...to name a few.
