Ok I am not real good at describing myself, and generally don't put much faith in dating sites, but I guess stranger things have happened... so here goes...
Lately I have felt a little bit like a contestant on one of those game shows, who takes chances on the prize, just to end up with a crap shoot. This whole process shouldn't be that complicated, if you ask me.

Honestly, The whole scenario is basically idiot proof...
MY friends tell me I am funny, cute ( apparently I rank right up there with stuffed bunnies or something...), have a very sarcastic streak ( Gee, who Knew?? LOL ) and can be about as subtle as a train wreck. But, as long as you can take what I say in good humour, and enjoy a good laugh, we should be fine.
Ok lets get the specifics out of the way shall we?
I am five foot 9, and compared to these little waif thin girls that disappear when they turn sideways ( you know the ones.. you can see their rib cages THRU their clothes they are so d*mn thin) .. well compared to THOSE girls, I carry a little extra weight, but hey at least I know someone won't break me in half, right??
I am also a singer, and love all kinds of activities, although, being a single mother, it is sometimes difficult to find the time for recreation.
Now, before you run off screaming at the phrase "single mother" let me assure you that I am ** NOT ** looking for a replacement father for my children.
I am VERY capable of doing both jobs.
I AM however, ** EVENTUALLY ** looking for someone to spend my life with... . And no I am not one of these delusional people who think that it is going to happen overnight.. but eventually that is what I hope to find. I am getting too old for the whole "one night stand" crap...
I am extremely loyal, fun loving, honest, and have a very unique and warped sense of humour.
I am looking for someone who likes to have fun, has a sense of humour, enjoys the simple things in life, but can still get wild when the opportunity arises. Someone, who can prove me wrong and make me believe there still ARE decent guys out there who dont use womens hearts and minds as doormats...
My main requirements for a potential "mate" ( wow is it me, or does that term just give you a mental image of some seriously warped zoo movie??) are:

I AM TOO OLD FOR GAMES, GUYS. I have no interest in men who try to control me, or dictate who or what I am " allowed " to do - I am a grown woman, and VERY independant, and I have no time, or patience for people who try to treat me like I am their property. Doing so is the quickest way to get me to walk away from you.
I believe that noone in this world is perfect, but it is often the imprefections in a person that make them more appealing and special.
I am most decidedly NOT your typical 30-something woman who thinks her glory days are behind her.. age is just a number, and you are only as old as you feel... which I guess on any given day can put me figuratively somewhere between 18 and 86... LOL
The point is that you can still be responsible and have fun at the same time.
On that note, I generally enjoy anything that involves being able to act like fools when I am out with my friends, but still be able to look them in the eye the next day LOL. ( being able to do so while keeping a straight face, however, is optional )
I am known to be fiercely protective of the people i care about - the whole mother bear syndrome thing... my family and closest friends are extremely important to me, and are all a very big part of my life.
As you can see from the top of my profile, I am a single mother. I have been blessed with three amazing children, a daughter who is 12, and two boys, aged 10 and almost 6. My children have always been, and always WILL BE, my TOP priority, and that is how it should be.
So, that being said, if you have an aversion to children... you may as well stop reading this and move on right now, because my children are a very big part of my life, and you WILL have to accept that and be a part of their lives should anything develop.
I am NOT looking for a perfect guy ( Hell, not even Ken and Barbie are perfect...), but I AM looking for someone who is perfect FOR ME.
