| | You & me ain't no movie stars, what we are is what we are. We share a bed, some popcorn and TV. And that's enough for a workin' man, cause what I am is what I am, and I tell ya babe, you're just enough for me.
If you are the kind of man who would stop a bullet for the ones he loves, read on. If not, then kindly move on... The man I'm looking for is protective by nature... he can and will protect his loved ones from the bogey-man and he is smart enuf to know that the bogey-man comes in many forms. A vicious dog, a scary movie, a snotty waiter, a broken furnace, a broken heart...
He is strong of mind, body and character, and he will be the epitome of masculinity even if only in my eyes. He has confidence in himself and equally in me. He has faith in me and in us and he would always have my back and knows instinctively that I have his. He is trusting and trustworthy, reliable, considerate and kind. And he has tools...lots of tools, and he knows exactly how to use every one of them. I love a man who can fix anything & circumvent any problem. (brain surgery not required) I seriously love a man who can truly do it all, or at least give it his best boyscout effort.
This is how I see it: If we get a flat tire, do you get out and change it, or do you call BCAA? If you do the former, I'm thinking, "he's hot!! I'm so gonna show him how 'hot' later." If it's the latter, I'm thinking, "I wonder if the BCAA guy is gonna be hot?" Are ya with me on this?
Hmmmm.... what does this mean you're thinking? Let me add this... I am perfectly capable of changing my own tires, I even have one of those thingys that makes the car go up & down & that other thing-ma-bob that takes those nut do-hickies off the wheels. And I have many other talents & thingys too... I 'can' take care of myself and have for years, my brothers and dad taught me plenty. It would be so nice to have a man who can come to the rescue when I need him, just because he wants to.
Changing tires etc. breaks nails and makes me dirty, how can I be the epitome of femininity if I'm dirty and broken? lol.
I want to be the girl and I want you to be the man, if you got dirty helping me your sex appeal just shot way up and the dirtier you get, the dirtier I get. Come on boys, do I need to spell this out for you?? It's the natural order of things. If you'll be my Tarzan, I so wanna be you're Jane! If you are fun, talented, capable, intelligent, spirited, and you love to hold hands, it's a beautiful thang... If you underestimate the value taking out the garbage, doing the dishes, or bringing me flowers, [stolen from a garden or bought] has on a relationship, then you're not for me.
If you remember what it was like to be 14 and occasionally revisit it, then I like you already. I am seriously interested only in meeting a man who is uniquely diverse. I know this is a rare find and a tough call but I am not interested in settling for second best. Bin there done that, got souvenirs, moved on.
I want to cook 'with' you... rake while you mow... pump the brake peddle & give it sum gas... hand you the correct tool... laugh @ your jokes even the bad ones... adore you when you say/do something brilliant... make love to you in the morning... kiss you when you come in the door... grope you in the hallway be awed by your talent... fluff your pillow when you're sick... put my face to your chest and breath deep... lay silently next to you... beat you at jeopardy... have a water fight... squeeze your biceps & tell you how strong you are... tell & keep each others deepest secrets... be proud to be on your arm... laugh at each others dumbest move... wear your Pheromone ridden t-shirt to bed, especially when you're not there to see each other as perfect even tho we're not...
And when the bogey-man comes knocking at the door... I know you will never fail to be there to answer. I have a healthy lifestyle, Rotton Ronnies is not on the menu, neither is smoking nor excessive drinking. I am a down to earth, grow my own lettuce and tomatoes, bake fresh pies kinda girl.
Truly I am a country girl at heart and if I could have but one dream, aside from the man of my dreams, it would be to have another horse. There are many things I have done, would like to do and would like to resume doing. I want to have an active, diverse and fun lifestyle mixed in with the mundane.
If I can learn from you I will respect you and if you will learn from me I will love you all the more. So.....wuddya say? : Shall we "Raise a little Hell"?? Arlene |
