O.K...first off the categories..I mean..what the heck?? Dating..may lead to long term..could be casual...might find a friend..had to pick something

I guess in the ideal world I would be looking for a soul mate, and have to admit I am somewhat of an idealist! That doesn't mean I have a whole list of pre-conceived notions about who this person is, guess it's just a matter of being open and meeting people.

Now to contradict myself (hey us females are allowed to do that!) there are some qualities I find appealing in people.

Do you treat the cashier at the grocery store with respect and a smile?
Do you actually consider those not as fortunate as yourself as real, worthy people?
Do you value friends, family and neighbours more than your car?
Are you open to other cultures, actually do you embrace them?
Have you learned NOT to sweat the small stuff?

I consider myself young, it's a mental thing not an age thing. I have a busy life with friends, family, work and volunteer activities..and I like it that way! I have to get outside every day, even though I am NOT fan of winter. I love to travel, and have been fortunate to have seen many of the World's wonders..but not done yet!

I think trying to describe who we are in a few paragraphs is impossible, people need to meet face to face, talk smile and hopefully laugh. I am far too comfortable with who I am to waste time on silly "reindeer" games, I believe that people connect (or not) in real time...so meeting in a mutually safe place...see what happens ..that's where it begins..not on IM or via e-mails.

Heading into summer craziness time, Jazz Fest followed by Comedy Fest with camping and terraces and BBQs....love it!
