I'm not ordinary, that is for sure. I am well read and educated so I can provide substance to any conversation. I also listen well (the counselling training comes in handy when dating ) I have a two year old son who is benefiting from my commitment to him.

I fully admit that I am disorganized but I never drop the ball (at least I try to pick it up as soon as possible.) My goals are to have a healthy family life balanced with advancing careers. I've been told that I am driven. I struggle with the slow pace of Vancouver Island!

I am very funny to some people but I won't try to entertain you in this profile. Luckily I live in a small town since people appreciate that I give everyone I meet a nod and a smile or even a wave and a cheerful hello if I am feeling enthusastic, which is pretty much most of the time. I've been here 9 months and frequently people tell me that they recognise me from somewhere.

New to Mount Waddington Area (Port Hardy) I would also like to meet friends who I can invite over for a nice dinner or a potluck, play cards and swap tales, or go on play-dates to the park, the pool, the beach, moderate hiking or car camping. In addition to that, I want an intimate companion and I would be willing to transfer or find a promotion and relocate to your city within British Columbia.

Ideally I prefer to meet sooner rather than later to keep things real. If we hit it off we can continue to chat, take a walk, grab an ice-cream cone or a hot chocolate (depending on the season) and simply enjoy the rush of connecting with another human being. I have been told that it doesn't feel like an interview when I meet someone; I like to focus on enjoying the person, rather than getting through a list of questions... you know.. how many siblings, your home town...etc. That stuff comes eventually.
