I work and have a pretty successful career. I have my own house and pay my bills. I am looking for someone at a similar place in their life. Someone who has their act together yet still knows how to have fun. I enjoy intelligent and quick-witted men. Do you think fast on your feet and can you keep me laughing? I love that! I can be out-spoken, but not in a mean way :)...I try to keep up to date on current affairs, local happenings, what the college kids are listening to on their iPods(LOL), and lots of other things. You shold know and care about some of the things that are going on in the world these days too.

I like to go out and get involved with life...drinks with friends, a big walk with the dogs, a day trip somewhere different, take in a concert or a play...and I'll take off on vacation as often as my budget will allow! :) I enjoy reading a lot. I might not be the biggest hockey or football fan but curling up next to you with a good book while you watch the game is nice sometimes too. I walk A LOT. I have dogs that need lots of exercise and our usual path is about 5.5Km long. We can also be found regularly at Point pleasant Park. I can be lazy on cold wet days, but when it's nice I'm outside and on the go. It's been yrs and yrs since I owned my own skis but would like to try again with a patient teacher. :) And I've always wanted to learn how to kayak.

I consider myself a "flexible" person. I take the time to get dressed up when going someplace nice but can be ready to leave for a walk with the dogs in under 5 minutes. I enjoy getting manicures and pedicures, but working in the yard and garden can sometimes take their toll on those. I love a fancy hotel when vacationing but don't require fancy washroom facilities or a hair dryer/make-up if we go camping.

I have a son who is a good kid (does well in school and is considered polite by adults who meet him, but is addicted to video games, basketball and sneakers!) He is "cool" with the idea of his mom dating.

I'm not interested in an "instant" relationship but I do want to meet a man who is looking for something long term.
