I’m warm-hearted, easy-going, genuine, spontaneous, and have a great sense of humour. I love to embark on adventures, am not materialistic, and have a passion for photography. I want to work to live, not live to work, which can be a challenge to live out in busy Toronto. (Especially when I actually like my job…!) I spend much of my free time getting together with friends and going out for dinner or drinks, live music, theatre, or just taking in a movie. I also enjoy singing passionately to my favourite tunes in the car, swimming laps followed by a soak in the hot tub, and savouring the flavours and textures of exotic cuisine is something I never tire of!

I’m Christian and lean left politically, and want to see a world with a more equal distribution of wealth. My work involves strategizing about how best to empower communities to get out of poverty in 25 countries in Africa, and I believe there is a lot that we need to do in the North before that can happen.

My life started out in the prairies but I knew from a young age that I wanted to explore the world (got bit by that travel bug, which I’m told there’s no cure for). My work takes me to different parts of Africa a few times per year, and I’ve also lived in or visited several countries in Europe, Asia, Latin America, and the Middle East.

I guess I'm here on this site hoping to meet up with a cool, genuine guy who shares some of the same interests, but has something unique to offer back. He has a positive outlook on life, is loyal, and likes surprises. He would enjoy sharing the morning paper with me on a Saturday morning over breakfast at our favourite cafe.
