(Everyone says it looks great and I agree. Pics coming soon.)I'm a simple, down-to-earth southern woman (yes I still have the accent) who's part Irish and part Cherokee Indian. I was born in Mississippi but moved to San Diego in 2003 from Lake Charles, Louisiana. I consider Louisiana home and sometimes I miss it terribly. I just turned 50; getting older but I refuse to grow old gracefully; I'm fighting it all the way...lol. I'm not looking for someone to take care of me and I WON'T take care of you (financially anyway). What I'm looking for is someone who'll care FOR me. I'd like to find someone who shares my interests and who's comfortable just hanging out and spending time together, doing whatever we feel like doing. I desire someone who doesn't need to be "attached at the hip" to me 24/7. I think it's best to also have separate interests and "me time".I love to sing karaoke and go shopping in little out-of-the-way shops...finding little treasures. I enjoy going to swap meets (that's flea markets to you fellow southerners) , antiques shops or on long drives to nowhere in particular (at least when we can afford the gas to do so). I also love going to car shows but I'm not into Nascar...go figure. I'm somewhat outspoken as you may have guessed but I try to never be rude or disrespectful to anyone. I simply have no tolerance for people who think that I'm incapable of things because of my gender. My sky terrier, Dexter (Dex for short), likes to take me to the dog park..lol. (Please note that I am a smoker and I will quit when I am ready to, not when someone else tells me I should. And for those who are offended by anything I've written here please accept my sincere apologies and then...BITE ME!) To give you a good idea of my personality, my license plate frame says "If you're gonna ride my ass at least pull my hair" And PLEASE, have a pic available if you email me or you'll get no response.
