I am a home owner who lives in a suburban area just perfect for families. I am a family man. No, let’s rephrase… I am a HUGE family man. I love kids. I love pretty much anything to do with family. Being together is what it’s about. I have no kids of my own and I hope to someday. The woman I am looking for also loves kids, being together, having nice quiet times at home or outside. I also enjoy the outdoors either working around the house or camping or boating or just taking the dogs for a walk. Did I mention I have dogs? I’ve had them my whole life and they, too, are a big part of my life. I really enjoy the holidays. Shopping, doing stuff with the kids and enjoying the season as a family. Hanging Christmas lights on the house is a family tradition, one that the entire family should be involved with and enjoy.

I am looking for a woman who is looking for a long-term, potentially marital, relationship. Yep, I used the “M” word right up front! I told you this was honest. A typical night at home would be relaxing in front of the TV, hanging out in the back yard, or taking the kids to sports. I AM NOT A BAR HOPPER. Nope, not me. I enjoy going out to dinner and movies and plays and what-not, but I am over the noisy scene and ready to concentrate on us. Cookouts in the backyard, having friends over, or just watching the sunset are all daily routines with me.

Other things about me: I own my own home-based business designing web sites and doing custom programming and have been pretty successful for the last 10 years. I am also “Mr. Fixit”. I can generally do all the home improvements, car repairs, and what-not myself and am always ready to try something new. I’m not afraid of getting dirty and I usually enjoy it. As I mentioned I have dogs and am an avid supporter of the ASPCA. I fly R/C planes as a hobby (when I have time) and doing just about anything outside. Humor is important. I love to laugh, make people laugh, and just have fun! Ski trips to the mountains or the Mexican Riviera for some sun are great vacations and I usually try to do at least one of these each year (although Disney World, Cedar Point or wherever are definitely not out of the question either!)

I am an OSU graduate in computer science and have technical degrees in electronics. I have been an instructor at Ohio University and enjoy teaching when I have spare time.

I am not into games at all. I think we’re old enough to get past all that and be honest, direct, and mature.

First dates can be anything from a walk in the park, dinner, coffee, or wherever we can meet and quietly talk.
