About Me
I'm a born optimist and learned skeptic. I'm fortunate enough to have a career doing what I would otherwise do as a hobby anyway; how great is that? It's demanding, though, which doesn't leave much room for a social life. I started programming computers as a way to get away from people, but it turns out that the job requires a great deal of interpersonal communication skills. As it also turns out, I am more of a social animal than I ever realized.
My primary interests have moved to 3D game programming, which I've been studying for about three years (wow, how time flies). I had to teach myself all aspects involved with it: rendering, system-programming, modeling (no, not that kind), collision detection, artificial intelligence, etc, etc, ad-naseum. The mathematics behind it all are amazing, and I'm shocked at how far I've progressed so quickly (yes, three years is quick to cover all these bases, considering I have a life, a full time job, and a small side business writing custom software).
If I seem interesting to you, feel free to contact me. I've been victimized by too many "unread/deleted" and "read/deleted" without a response to want to initiate contact anymore. It's much more efficient to let women do it.
First Date
Let's intend on being friends, and see what happens. There's a nice public park on West Battlefield road that would be a great place to meet. We could walk the trail, and get to know each other.
