I believe you need to enjoy each days to its fullest. Sometimes it seems like there it not enough time in the day to enjoy everything life has to offer so I do my best at making every moment count!

In my leisure time I enjoy whatever it may be! Weather, time of the year and amount of time, dictates how I spend my leisure time. Traveling is a top priority - be it within the US or to other countries or even nearby places. If I ever had a choice to live near the ocean or in the mountains, it would be a toss up. I prefer the outdoors to being inside. I love outdoor activities such as horseback riding, biking, boating, golfing and skiing -as you can tell almost any type of sports. I enjoy reading, music, dancing, quiet romantic dinners, city life and "yes" I also enjoy spending time time at my house. I better since I am still making mortgage payments. I like to have dinner parties and actually just enjoy having friends and family over. Also what is great is the company of that special someone. I don't have a fire place but I do love great wine, good conversation and cuddling.

I am looking for someone that is honest, open and real and being FUNNY would be an EXTRA bonus point. When I was detained in South Africa due to 911 - the honesty and willingness of people to help me was overwhelming. You could sense and feel they were talking from their heart and soul and not just their actions. Sometimes people's words are not backed up by their actions and that was not the case for me in Africa. Their true love of our country was evident! They were "real" and I am hoping to find someone that has those qualities.

I would like to meet someone that has the same enthusiasm and enjoyment for life that I have. He must have the same desire to be in a healthy, loving relationship and committed to maintaining it. Sometimes people get too relaxed in a relationship and I believe you need to pay attention to what is happening in each stage. Treating each other with kindness and doing things to make each other happy makes life much easier. I am looking for someone to enjoy my life with, not only as a partner, but as a best friend. He must have a positive outlook on life and be willing to have fun along the way. Hey - I don't want to look bad and have too many "I wish I would have done that".

I can think of a lot of great places to go for a first date - but since that is exactly what it is "a first date and a chance to get to know each other" it would be best to meet for a light meal or beverage with a prearranged time frame. If things go well - then all the better.
