Just what does one have to write to make a profile standout from the other caring, kind, sensitive men on the web? Men may be dolts, but we know we can't write 'Hi! I'm Dave! I like smoking pot, reading the sports page on the john... wanna have sex with me?'*

(Just to clarify; I don't smoke pot and I don't read the sports page in the bathroom.)

In the past I've written these profiles as if my life were like some kind of Red Bull commercial where every day is some action packed whirlwind. Although I enjoy being active, there are days where I come home from work and crash while watching the news.

I'm looking for a woman to join me in life's adventures. A relationship where we can introduce each other to our passions while realizing at our ages, we have traditions that should not be tampered with. Someone whose presence will influence me to order the salad, but does not look at me too despairingly when I stumble for a chili dog.

One last thing, if a man writes in profile that he can cut a mean rug, he is lying.
