I'm a little nervous about this latest challenge I'm taking on through online matchmaking, but I think I'm pretty adventurous and courageous, so this seems like a natural thing for me to try. I have a lot of self-confidence, but talking about myself is strange.

I love children--even grown-up ones--and visit my son in Michigan and my daughter and son-in-law in Georgia as often as I can. I love dogs, but I don't think I'll have another because I enjoy having the freedom to travel. I enjoy humor, but it's pretty easy to play a joke on me because I tend to take people at face value--plus, I'm not afraid to laugh at myself. I get along with almost everyone--even my ex-husband. We were married for 25 years, and we're friends today. I think that says a lot about what kind of person I am.

I enjoy solitude, but I'm ready for a loving relationship.

I would like to spend some time getting to know each other. This can take place over dinner, a long walk, a picnic in the park. If we get along, we will probably laugh a bit, have some serious discuss, try not to discuss politics or religion (at least not on a first date), and regret that the evening has to come to an end.
