There are times I have put my heart and feelings out for someone and either get a polite "No thanks", No reply or totally ignored. I can understand attraction and I realize I am far from George Clooney handsome. I am also 5'10ish. If you don't want to get to know me because I am "too short" then you need to check your vanity at the friggin' door. Sometimes the person you want may not be wrapped in the best paper but you won't know that til you take a few to get to know me for who I am. I have my good points, my bad points and my in between points. I have never really taken a decent picture since I was about 12 years old so the ones I do have posted are the "best" ones for now. We now return to our previous program.

How does one write about themself and make it sound like a very good 30 second commercial.. Well here goes... I am fun-loving 48 y/o guy who lives in St Charles. I have 3 boys that are sometimes w/ me here. I have 1 dog, 3 guitars (I do want to learn how to play well someday)So if your a teacher, I'd love to learn. I have a great love of music, humor,and great restuarants, and a desire to have someone in my life..to share these loves with. I do like to keep up my appearance, but blue jeans and sneakers are usually the clothes of the day. I do clean up well. I even own my own tux. I know, I need to lose a few pounds, but hey..dont we all. I have a love of reading,... mysteries, political, and have a need to keep up with the news. Oh and.. Non Sequitor the comic strip. My political view, liberal. I enjoy obscure comedy at times, good movies that don't always entail a car chase, or a gunbattle. I am employed in the legal field (no not a lawyer).

I am looking for someone who cares about people, someone that enjoys the simple pleasures of life, but also some of the finer things. I want to find the woman who when I look into her eyes, I see, and feel the magic of the person. That someone that the little voice inside my head goes "There you are" I have been waiting for you, for so long. Now I can love again. I like someome with an open mind.

Intelligence is a major turn on. A good sense of humor. Someone,who gets my jokes. Spirited,Independent,likes pets,has a love for children, and is willing to meld families together. A love of music(all music).I like to try and relate feelings thru music. You know...like the song,that reminds you of love, the love you can feel toward a woman. Love.... a best friend to be able to share my thoughts, feelings, and music with. Being able to express onesself thru music or literature is a wonderful way to have a something move you. Sometimes a simple touch is all thats needed and not the words. Someone,that can hear the smile in my voice when I call. I'm looking for a real relationship, and some casual chat to start. I'm looking for the real deal, and this year is my year. I dont have a need to play games. Looking for a great future, with someone special. I hope I am not asking for too much.

I am not wanting one that seems to be serial daters or on a bazillion peoples "favorites" lists. I just want someone to want me for the person I am. I keep getting told "You are a nice guy but......." I cringe when I hear those words. Take a chance and get to know me for the person I am, not the person you think I am from the pics.
