Hey there, My name is Melissa and I am 23... Im not terribly into "advertising" myself, but I figure if I do my part then maybe the right person will respond.
I'm a full time nanny and I work about 40 hours a week, so I dont always get the chance to meet new people. Most people see me with a young child and assume Im a single mother.
Im not sure what it is about St. Louis, but it seems the only places to meet people are in bars for one night stands and Im so not into that, so atleast something like this cuts though the crap. I tell you about myself and you decide if Im worth the response.
Speaking of which, I have a very honest personality- very black and white. I dont justify anything because I feel justification is only a means to make myself feel better about a decision I know is wrong anyway. I love to laugh and joke around. Im very sarcastic and blunt. I have a very good judge of character and strong instincts which Ive gotten better at following.
I was raised in church and while my upbringing was kind of rocky, I have an established and growing relationship with God...(im more like a "disciple" than a "pharisee") Im not bragging about this, im just putting it out there because it does make a difference in whom I will date and who will date me, for that matter.
I enjoy being outside, running, most sports and Im a green belt in taekwondo. But I am also extremely feminine... I wear skirts and dresses, scream when I see a bug and will never, ever go camping. (ever). While I am not a gourmet chef, I do enjoy cooking and staying in for an evening. My idea of "going out" is dinner somewhere and then getting a glass of wine. As stated before, Im not into the bar scene or crowds in general. I do enjoy seeing movies and have been searching for a movie buddy, so if you're interested in strictly that, then that would totally make my day...

Coffees always good. Walking around forest park (ive always wanted to go paddle boating!), grabbing a bite to eat or a glass of wine at a fancy winery. Anything that would allow an easy conversation flow and take the pressure off. First dates are typically awkward, so definetely something low key!
