I am here to meet people that are interesting. I have been abroad for so long that America seems just a bit new still. I was in England and Germany until I ate, slept and breathed it over and over. Ich kann Deutsch auch sprechen. I saw so much via rail and bicycle, I'd like to share that adventure.....of seeing.

What do I love best of all? I was asked that once, and EXPLORING came out my mouth. "Even more than girls and good German beers, I love to explore! and THAT is asking a lot of a guy!" That has been my life, to see and explore and discover new things.

I have degrees (or otherwise strong academic background) in: Anthropology, German, International Relations/Defence, Political Economics, History, Social Psych, and Religion, from US, England and Germany. I did Archaeology in New Mexico. I've been in East Germany and Czechoslovakia when they still existed. Like I said, I like to explore.

Politically, I don't see either the Republicans or Democrats much diff from one another. Republican orientated people are like AIG and Bernie Madoff, whereas Democrats are taxing me out of my bad habits and barring smoking in pubs. Who the heck thought of that? All just self-righteous, self-aggrandising thieves in my opinion. I guess I could be Libertarian in the old school style, ie, Thomas Jefferson was one, promoting both liberty and civil responsibility. Otherwise, one could simply an Independent Patriot, 1775 kind. I prefer to think for myself. Overall, I am pretty moderate, since extremists tend to be very over-the-top. That is to say, I am pretty even and understanding, except when I have to be really stubborn, lol! Liberty or Death, my friends!

According to some, like my aunt, I have the same sort of personality characteristics/patternage as Sir Winston Churchill, Confederate General JEB Stuart, Sir Walter Raleigh, British Admiral Horatio Nelson, George Bernard Shaw and Bugs Bunny. Innit cool?! Plus a furry tail and white gloves, ROFL, "What's up, doc?" I just took the Sesame Street taste in the same vein, and it said "Kermit the Frog". Cool. And also, apparently according to 2 other tests, that I am a slut, LOL>

I love to think there is some substance to all these ghost hunter programmes on TV too. I love exploring the Mystery. Haven't found a real good ghost show though, and I don't think I will. But it is a cool idea. The Art Bell show, otherwise known as Coast to Coast AM, is one good one however which discusses all sorts and which I do enjoy immensely.

I also love listening to the BBC online, all channels. I even have it on my sidebar, how cool is that! just found it.

I AM REALLY GOOD AT:
I am way good at puzzles. Not the run of the mill, like NY Times crosswords, but HUGE questions, like Where did the first Americans come from? Why is the oil price so high? Why do men/women, white/black, wealthy/poor, Western and 3rd world NOT get on? Why do we speak so, this language, and how are we so different and why? I am more advanced than I wish to be. I love my real world puzzles.

THE FIRST THING(S) PEOPLE NOTICE ABOUT ME:
That I look like I am from Ireland. And that I have red hair. My tattoos. My legs if'n shorts on.

And when I am drunk, I am very opinionated.

But yeah, mostly the Irish thing, lol. Once when I got off the plane in Dublin, all in my wool coat and flat cap, a fellow asked me "Aye, are ye happy to be home like, laddie?" For serious. I was home, haha. Nice.

Oh, and I can kiss extraordinarily, if I like a girl very well. I love to share :)

I SPEND ALOT OF TIME THINKING ABOUT:
The reason for ppl being in strife. The price of oil and why it is so artificial. What love and happiness are and where this all will be in 50 years. Why people behave the way they do, both in groups on the macroscale, as in internationally, or intercommunally, esp with regards to war, power and trade, eg. Israel-Palestine. Is that too much for some people here?

YOU SHOULD MESSAGE ME IF:
You are nice, smart, want to talk about more than just your ex and sex, but would rather have fun with and real adventures. And you are engaging, yes.It is easy to be stupid, lmao, so interesting is a plus. You don't have to be supersmart PhD, no, just adorable in a girly way with character.Do you like to share nice things and ideas maybe? Even hold hands for fun? Be friends with and just a bit more...like secret lovers? Aw, well, romance can be a nice thing, yes.

If you are big into Europe, esp England ,Ireland, Scotland or Germany, we HAVE to talk! Neat. Or Archaeology and History too.

Oh yeah, and if I message you, that does NOT automatically mean I am trying to chat you up or "get into your pants". All that is just WAY too routine and typical. Mostly I look for points or attitudes in people that are interesting, like Germany or psychics or travel or motorcycles, or even just "I like to read books by Hesse, Joyce, Hemingway and Henry Miller" for example. Neat. Sharing is the point anyway, isn't it? It ought be fun in any circumstance really.

whatever works really...as long as it is fun and quite pleasant. That is the point, isn't it? I add more maybe later on. In the meantime I leave you with this little thought which I find quite nice indeed:
