About Me
I'm pretty much atypical. I've never met anyone quite like me, and I don't think I ever will. That's not to say that I'm better than anyone else, at all. I truly think that all beings are equal. I also believe that all people are inherently good, or of a good nature. I think that everyone has the potential to love others unconditionally, but that few people do. I think the key to loving others is to first love yourself, many will find that this is quite hard. Contentment is beautiful. I like people who don't follow societies norms, because I think societal norms are crap, and basically illogical. I want to make some sort of positive change in this storm of negativity that is our world. No matter how small. I really like music and the outdoors. I'm most comfortable without shoes, I find them restraining. I play guitar, and various other instruments, though I by no means have mastered any of them, hopefully one day I will do that. I like camping, backpacking, and rock climbing/bouldering. Really just being in nature, unfortunately I live in Atlanta so that can be somewhat difficult to do on a daily basis, but we do have some awesome parks. I tend to spend most of my time at the local coffee shop. I like coffee, a lot.
As far as relationships are concerned, I don't really know what I'm "looking for" perhaps just someone who is different, and smart. I like intellectual conversations. I've been avoiding relationships for quite a while now. I sort of fell into a hole for a while, and didn't really feel that is was fair to ask someone else to take on my problems. But, I'm basically back on my feet and feeling really excited about life. I'm not looking for a relationship, but am no longer avoiding them.
ps - if you're looking to hook up, please don't bother, because that's certainly NOT ME! I like to take things really slow, if you're not okay with that, sorry, but we can still be friends.
First Date
Hmm... for a first date? Probably coffee and conversation. I like talking to people, well listening to people, and I think coffee shops are definitely one of the best places for that. If that sounds boring to you, well, tough. Only joking, we could go rock climbing or go see some random band play. I'm really up for anything.
