I'm educated with a degree specializing in outdoor sculpture and printmaking. [Its not figurative]
I am abstract oriented and very found object installation friendly in my art tastes. You can look at some of my art by googling ThorbArt [ if you run into broken links please let me know ... I'm trying to update the sites but I think I have too many and should thin them out some ][actually working out of town too much to bother with the sites lately]
I love a variety of music and my favorite radio station is CBC for its eclectic mix. I dabble in video and photo documentation of art work and experimentation in all mediums. I need to be with open-minded educated people. I enjoy jamming, used to skinny dip before having a teenager in the house. Empty nest now including no spouse and I don't feel so skinny anymore. I miss female companionship a lot. Don't get any at work on construction and my art seems to have become very solitary. I have a country space that is nice and private and feeling a bit empty... More artsie visitors would be great and if we became intimate friends that would be a bonus. I'm sort of searching for a Muse, some amusement and intimacy always helps.
On a bit of a tangent, I have to say, today, that I still can't find a way to stop loving once I start, even though others seem to be able to do that. Then maybe that is part of the delusional artsie world I have worked and played so hard to live in, or its leftover from the pure ideals of childhood understanding of Christian social doctrine. Maybe it was the influence of the Beatles and Love Love Love [is all you need] and ramblings along other tangents.
If you are foolish enough to think intimate only means sex then your maturity is probably not developed enough for me but hey…
these are only words
their interpretation changes with every reading.
though I guess I must have tripped that no no block in here while communicating with someone on the forums ... oh well, that just shows the shallowness of this pond.
I do have a habit of looking at more than one way to do things
so I am open to discussion.
That's probably why I’ve gotten hooked on the forum threads.
Mostly the poetry ones though ...
they let me practice and create and they inspire.
I like the theme/topic oriented .. show us what ya got
and the .. last line ... first line challenge.
then toss one here and there in other threads for fun
I also have my own thread "One Moment in Infinity"
thanks ... to all you contributors ...
I appreciate the camaraderie
it has helped me sail the murky waters in this pond
sometimes I think for too long but that’s another song.

Let's just say ... I'd talk a lot. [and listen]
probably drink something and check you out.
