I'm Jake. I was referred here by a friend. She asked me "what do you have to lose?"

I didn't have a very solid answer for her, so I decided to give it a try.

I'm young, and already sick of going out and meeting people at the bar. I'm not pessimistic, but sometimes I feel like there isn't a good girl left in the world. Is there really a girl out there that's the "total package?"

Actually I'm the type of person that's always looking at the positive side of things. I live in the moment, and I love life. I'm always having a good time, no matter what I'm doing.
Basically I'm a goof-ball, and I like making people laugh. Laugh at me, or with me, it doesn't mater.

I am pretty into health and fitness, and in my spare time I like to do anything active. If it's not some sort of physical activity, I love watching a great movie, or sharing conversation about metaphysical topics; religion, the purpose of life, peace, relationships, etc...

I'm inquisitive, introspective, and down to earth. Sometimes I'm pretty random...

I play hockey, and I love it. I hope you do too.

I like to have karaoke sessions in my car, even though my voice is terrible. You should join me, it's fun. :o)


I'm in school to be a nurse anesthetist. I am really excited about my career...
I work as a nurse in the ICU for the time being...I like my job, but I'm excited for the advancement.

I like spending time with good people. I appreciate good company, and I hope you do too.

There are a lot of things that I look for in a woman. I don't feel like making an extensive list, because if I do meet someone from here, I wouldn't want to place any ideas in their mind. I want you to be you.
There are a few things that are a must. I HATE people that lie. Don't lie to me, and don't break a promise to me, and we should be all right.

Normally, I don't date girls that are my age. They play games, and that annoys me.
I'm very very picky about who I date. I would rather be alone for the rest of my life then "settle". I am holding out for the perfect girl, and I don't even know if she exists. Scary, huh?
Let me clarify about "perfect"...This does not mean that you must be tall, skinny, blond Barbie... That may be perfect for some, but not all. I am looking for the perfect girl for ME. That's what I mean by perfect...

This totally depends upon the person and how comfortable things are feeling.

Probably start out with dinner. Some place that's not too upscale (at first), where we can be laid back, and maybe have a drink or two. Depending upon the weather, and your preference, we could take a scenic ride on my motorcycle. Maybe ride somewhere nice, like a park, or maybe ride back to my apartment and rent a movie.

If motorcycles aren't your thing, maybe we'll drive to the city museum after dinner, or if you'd like, go dancing. I'm really up for anything. Like I said, I have a good time no matter what I'm doing.

As a general rule, I don't go to the movie theater on a first date. Why would you take someone to a place where conversation is prohibited? :o)
