Hey there ;) I'm from a small town in upstate new york... pretty much country. I enjoy the lifestyle that small towns offer, but living in one has its negatives as well, one being the difficulty of meeting new people when you've lived here all your life haha (though I'm pretty sure I won't ever live in a large city). I graduated from UVM in May '07 with a BS in math and now I'm attending grad school to become an accountant. Spending my 4 years of undergrad in Vermont was amazing... Burlington is an awesome little city, and I miss it a lot. Right now a lot of my free time is taken up by school and work, but when I do have time I like to go out (usually in glens falls or saratoga), hang out with friends and family, and do anything new and interesting. I have a huge extended family, and they are all a big part of my life.

As far as personality goes, I would consider myself a pretty laid back person. I'm also pretty sarcastic, so you gotta be able to keep up with it :) I'm not the type of person to completely throw myself into something without thinking it through first, but enjoy being spontaneous just the same. I enjoy meeting new people who can hold a conversation about anything and everything. I like people who are real, and aren't trying to be anyone but themselves. If you feel like you have to put on a show for people, we probably won't get along real well. A couple characteristics that I especially love in a guy: charismatic, outgoing, assertive, and confident... the way that a guy carries himself can make it or break it for me. You also need to have a great sense of humor, because laughing is one of the best things :) You need to be honest, not afraid to express your opinion, and love meeting new people. One of the things that I enjoy most in this world is hanging out with a few good people, with a few good drinks, and some good music... especially around a fire on a warm summer night :)

*I am someone who will do pretty much anything for my friends... I tend to put others before myself, not always the best.
*Sometimes I forgive too easily... probably most of the time.
*I WILL have my CPA someday... the process begins this summer, wish me luck ;)
*I love country music... it feels like home.
*I love volunteering... I think it's so important to give back when you can, someday you might need the same kind of help.
*your personality and attitude impress me, not your money.
*Classic Rock, DMB, Tragically Hip, and O.A.R. make me happy... along with plenty of other bands
*I find happiness and relaxation in simplicity.
*want to find someone who is passionate about life.
*enjoy dressing up and going out, but I can hop into some jeans and a hoodie just as fast :)
*prefer a guy in carhartts or camo over designer clothes any day ;)
*love going to concerts, especially outdoor venues in the summer... countryfest is always fun :)
*I'm not a morning person, meaning I don't like to get out of bed early... but that doesn't mean that I don't enjoy the morning when I actually do get up early. However, I tend to enjoy the night just as much.
*I enjoy taking drives to nowhere in particular.
*I've been told I can be stubborn, but I think I just know what I want :)
*have a huge appreciation for the adirondacks, and I've learned that I need to take advantage of my location relative to them much more.
*tend to be a pretty impatient driver, even when I'm not in a hurry... but I generally enjoy taking my time with everything else.
*someday I'd like a cabin/camp/house on a lake in the mountains... and a boat... someday i'll get there.
*I'm in love with the south and have always told myself I'd move there for at least a year to get it outta my system, either north or south carolina.
*I believe in smiling and laughing a lot, and giving everyone a chance.
*known to be brutally honest at times, but I also believe that honesty is the best policy.
*I don't like to waste anyone's time.
*I'm a sucker for beautiful eyes and smiles :)

Depends on the other person and what they are comfortable doing. Couple drinks are always good... tends to relax people. Dinner if the drinks go well. Movies are difficult because you can't talk/get to know the person.
