Classic gentleman, forward thinker, jack of many trades. Dogs and children have always liked me and I trust the instincts of both. My business allows me the opportunity to meet a wide variety of people, and I do my best to put a smile on the face of each. I've made enough money to know that it is a small measure of success and no measure of happiness. My best friends have always been women; they seem to have a few less layers of BS to get through and are far more intuitive. If they learned to go with that, they'd be right most of the time. I love to cook and a glass or two of wine so enhances the process. I think mother nature is the best artist the world will ever know and she provides most of the answers we seek if we just keep our hearts open to them.

I've been self employed for 25 + years. I'm a bit of an inventor as well. As an English major in college, I did some creative writing, but I wanted it to be magic, the words just flowing from my mind to paper. Now that I'm older I appreciate the craft of it, so I've started to write again.

I'm looking for a woman who can emit the same sort of energy I'm beginning to experience in my own life now and who wants to laugh deeply. One who knows that the good and bad we see is all about perspective. Fish can't see water ya' know. More often than not, I think it's ego that keeps us from getting the best out of life, and I'm working to become more aware of my own. I'm probably kind to a fault, but I'd rather err on that side of things.

I have developed a fairly keen sense of people, and through e-mail or or a phone call, we should get a pretty good sense of whether or not a meeting should even take place. If it does, the conversation will engage us enough so that the surroundings, they won't be so important.
