I try to live my life by one simple phrase, "If the sun does not come up in the morning you can dance in the moonlight". If you are looking for someone to get out and truly live a Carpe Diem existence then we might just find what we are both searching for. I am as comfortable hiking the Appalachian trail as I am attending a theatrical performance. My interests are varied and I am always searching for a new experience. My current hobby/passion is writing so I spend much of my time with a pen and paper in my hand. Intelligence is a very important trait that I need in a partner. Can you discuss world events in one sentence and then switch subjects to talk about the latest discoveries of the universe while at the same time enjoying a great cup of coffee or bottle of wine? I do not subscribe to the philosophy that if life hands you lemons make lemonade. I believe if life hands you lemons take a big bite out of it and taste the bitterness, don't try to mask it with the artificiality of sugar. If you never taste the sourness of a lemon you will never know what the true sweetness of a watermelon is. I also hope that the trade winds always fill my sails but just in case I make sure there is fuel for the motor. Searching for someone who will not be sitting around twenty years from now saying I could have, I would have or I should have but will simply say I did.
