I guess I've been blessed to have met some wonderful gentlemen on this site! I am single and enjoy dating, and date on average once a week, but looking for "The One". I am literate, articulate and conversant on many levels and am looking for the same in a partner.

Looking for a partner, not a saviour. I am happy and content in my life, but would like the company of a good man. Not looking for a "player". If you're just looking to get some, keep looking as there is a lady out there just waiting for you. Having said and gotten that out of the way, would like to say that a physical relationship is part of what I'm looking for, IN A RELATIONSHIP. If you're looking for a "what" as opposed to a "who" you might want to keep looking. if you're married, I'm not the lady for you. If you do, however, have a work ethic, live on your own, and can carry on a converstion and listen to what the other person says, we might have a great time conversing.

If you are looking for a "girly-girl", it's not me. I'm more inclined to cleaning out the gutters than having my nails done. On a date, I am nothing, if not a lady. I am well mannered and gracious and I don't believe there is a man I've gone out with who can honestly say he was uncomfortable being seen with me. I've had phone conversations with gentlemen I've met through this site that have lasted HOURS! So I know I'm good company. (I really need a better cell phone plan...lol)

I am well aware of the fact that I am not a Barbie. I'm not a Cinderella...I am the person who will politely listen when you complain about your boss. Who will offer an "I'm so sorry" when you tell me how your ex left you for someone else. I am the person who will not laugh when you're crest fallen and hurt that a date skipped out on you in a restaurant.

I am also aware of the fact that there has to be some chemistry, but if you ask for my picture and find it unappealing, stop for a second and picture the women in your family the way the men on this site would. How would your sister, or daughter be perceived?

If you are looking for arm candy, I can respect that and I won't waste your time. I'm not able to stop men in their tracks. But if you want a woman to care for you for who you are, who will work with you and by your side, who will care if you hurt and care for your well being, then I might be who you're looking for.

Like my headline says "Cinderellas don't need dating sites"....but neither do Prince Charmings....
