Description is above and in the pictures, though my hair is short now (and one picture shows that) I am active, but have a heavy build and I a in the process of loosing some weight. I own horses and a dog - trail ride a lot and enjoy things in the outdoors during the summer - especially horse camping. Also have a love of historical things and do some medieval re-acting, including my favorite jousting. So ladies, when I say knight in shining armor on a white horse - I mean it!

What do I want in a woman? The big question that is hard for me to answer, just because it is so darn complex. Here is an attempt, that I am sure will have to edited many times. A little bit of a girlie girl of sorts, but not to far with it. Just someone who likes to take care of herself and actually spend some time to look nice on occasion, but does have to be that way all the time. Sometimes it is nice to just bum around and enjoy each other. Sometimes even having the option of doing something that might get us dirty. And I am not so much on lots of makeup - natural with minimum amount of makeup accents added. Very big on someone who likes to try new things, enjoys traveling, just picking a direction and going without a plan sometimes. Also who is just as happy to occasionally spend a bit of time coming up with a plan to go do something special. She should like music of all types, likes going out to do things, likes movies and maybe even sometimes gets emotionally caught up in them, someone who can enjoy a night in just cuddling on the couch just as much as going out - after all sometimes those are the best. Someone who appreciates nature and is willing to that extra 'green' step even though it is more hassle sometimes, maybe even enjoys or would like to have a garden sometime. That is the basics, but ask if you have additional things you would like to know.

Some more about me and things that I am not willing to give up or change. I do like history, historical re-enacting of several varieties, though I focus on medieval things the most. I like the simplicity that comes with rural life and enjoy (and actually miss at the current time) having a farm. Do not get that wrong, I also love a the culture and such that comes with a larger city and will always enjoy going to those kinds of events, I just don not think I want to live in one anymore. I do own horses and I will always plan on that being the case.

Likes: evenings out, fine dining, movie night in, a nice wine, a dark beer, romantic moments, anything to do with nature, my dog, horses, intelligent conversation, dreamers, artistic people, history, old things and places, simple life, antique shops

Dislikes: close minded people, dishonesty, issues with commitment, malls

Anyway what I am looking for is to ultimately find a best friend to spend the rest of a life together. In the meantime, I know it can't start out that way, I will be content to find someone who will enjoy traveling a beautiful path together. Something completely different - how about a long ride in the woods to a picnic lunch. Just you, me, horses and the opportunity to get to know one another through some good conversation. Maybe a bottle of some nice wine in the saddle bags to go with the food and just relax and enjoy the company. Horses picketed over by the tree line, us laughing and enjoying a food, a glass of wine, and the sound of a creek babbling over the rocks in the not so far off distance. That would be ideal, but would settle for dinner out and the same opportunity to get to know one another or anything that allows conversation.
