(Before you read any further, please know that, if I sent you a message, it's because I liked your photo, read your entire profile, including interests and first date ideas, thought about it, decided we might click, and then composed a message just for you. My friends and family don't understand why I'm single (yup, I'm one of those!). Okay, here comes the list. According to the people who love me, I'm intelligent, funny, fun to be around, pretty, outgoing, a wee bit crazy (in a good way, of course), compassionate, giving, loyal, non-judgmental, a strong person, confident, talented, friendly, thoughtful, and supportive. I would like to add that I think I'm romantic, affectionate, a good communicator, a little artsy, a little stubborn, a good cook (when cooking for more than just me), a good listener and a good storyteller, I like learning new things and am a quick study, and most importantly (I think) is that when I care for someone, it's with everything I've got. Are you the same way?

I love to sing, act, dance, play with children, drive, travel, read, flake out on a beach, discuss current affairs, play volleyball, tennis, and am learning to golf and ski. I love to explore new places, hug and kiss, laugh out loud, and lend a helping hand, to name a few things. I have to be honest and tell you that I'm NOT into camping at all. I've tried it many times and it's just not for me. I do, however enjoy the cottage life, hiking, canoeing, etc., as long as I have a roof, shower, and bed to come back to. lol

I'm looking for someone similar to myself, as it has been my experience that opposites may attract but don't last in the long run. My life is fun and full of great people. In this I've been very fortunate. I'm looking to add one more great person with whom I can share my life and who will share his life with me. I'm looking for my best partner. Hmmm, I think I'd prefer a quiet, low-key first encounter, maybe for a coffee, so that we can chat and laugh, get a bead on each other, see if the chemistry is there...we can save the sky diving for when we know each other a bit better. lol

One last thing is, very simply put, if I can't see a decent photo of you, I won't respond to your emails, and I'll remove myself from your favourites list. Yes, it's harsh, superficial, etc., but it's my reality and I'm being honest about it. :-)
