Thanks for reading my profile. I just turned 50 last Christmas but thanks to my folk's sturdy genes, I look and feel a lot younger. I have residency of my 12 year old son, and I know this sounds cliche, but he's a sweet, smart, and great all around kid. I live and work in Naperville and have been doing freelance advertising art since 1985. I also teach drums and percussion to kids through adults. I find myself playing in bands around Illinois when the job fits. So if the secret of happiness is doing what you love, I am doubbly blessed. I'm not a kid, but am very active and don't let a lot of dust land on me. With spring upon us I can't wait to start riding my bike, and taking walks through the woods, going to outdoor art shows, and although I like to stay active, I'm not freaky about it. Relaxing is nice too. Family and friends are extremely important to me, and although my parents have been married for 52 years and I'll never get there, I feel I can recognize and nurture real love.

Picture this, a guy pulls up to meet you for coffee in his new, candy apple red Ferarri, and all he can talk about is his car, and how cool he is, and how many push-ups he can do. Now change gears to reality. I pull up in my Subaru and am glad to meet you and to talk with you, and at the very least have a new acquaintance. We chat, enjoy a coffee or tea, and in your head you are either thinking you like me and would like to explore this further, or not. We both put our best foot forward while being honest and sincere. It does no good to lie for either of us because it all comes out in the wash anyway. Coffee or tea is easy. Finding someone you'd like to spend the rest of your life with, not so easy, but as long as my heart continues to beat with love and life, I'll keep looking because I know you're out there.
