About Me
I would describe my personality as laid back with sprinkles of silly-ness and sassy-ness here and there, though I have heard several times, that others perceive me as being “demure”. I am multi-racial, (Japanese, Hawaiian, Italian, Manchurian, Ethiopian, Ainu and Tahitian) and have been a dancer and martial artist since I was 4 years old. I am very passionate about Asian Philosophy, Martial Arts, Poetry, Music, and Dance. I am creative and artistic in nature, and it is also really important to know that I am a huge Star Wars dork!!! For those in my life that have earned the privilege, I am extremely loyal. Likewise, my man - or any of the people whom I surround myself with for that matter, must have an honorable and trustworthy character as well.
First Date
If I were to hang out with someone for the first time, I think it would be good to do an activity that breaks the ice, while you can get to know someone. The best time I ever had on a first date was going to an open mike event because I love music and poetry. Maybe even going to a museum, or art gallery, or concert. I think that taking a dance class together (like salsa, or ballroom dance), is also a neat way to get to know someone as well. Going to the movies is cool, but be warned- I hate chick flicks with a passion… however, I love to see action movies with good hand to hand combat scenes in them. Watching boxing, kick boxing or MMA matches, are also things that I do with my friends on a regular basis.
