I am at a place in my life where I want to fall in love with a best friend rather then going in circles from one unmitigated romantic disaster to the next. Conversation is a higher priority to me then lust. I have no interest in one night stands. I have my faults and I do not believe that dating profiles or emails should be used as some surreal commercial to deceive people. I am an open book with to many pages so ask me anything, life is to short to waste on lie's. I am an artist, poet, musician, aromatherapist,philosopher, parapsychologist,scientist and theologian. I enjoy hiking and long walks, nature has been a life long friend. My quest in life is to try to understand truth,honor,perspective and wonder. I am looking for any of ONE of the following:a dreamer, a thinker, a person who has a forgiving heart, a person who really cares about people and themselves,a good listener who does not jump to conclusions or heaven forbid someone who can articulate there feelings or be honest with me and themselves.

For movies Plot over budget for me. The genre's i probably watch the most of are comedy.sci-fi, and martial arts(big Jet Li and Jackie Chan fan). My all time favorite movies would be Gattaca,Zoolander, The fountain,A.I., The ref, Monty pythons holy grail and Mouse hunt(because its funny to see a rodent out smart two humans). I do like some of the oldies to like the three stooges, W.C.Fields,marks brothers and the little rascal's.

Authors are a hard call for me. I think the secret life of plants by Christopher Byrd(which delves into how plants are aware and respond to there environment from a scientific, pagan and Christian perspective. For fiction Iv been a C.S.Lewis, J.R.R. Tolkien, Frank Herbert,William Gibson, H.P.Lovecraft,Neil Gamond and Neal Stephenson Fan. For non-fiction I run the gamut of philosophy, metaphysics, biology, political, historical, art,psychological,astronomy,photography, crafts, media and alternative medicine.

My out look on life. The human drama tragedy is hilarious!! The truth is we are all misunderstood children and in the joke of life we are the punchlines folks. So we had better start laughing at ourselves or be truly doomed. An old poem i wrote years ago sums it up

“The Wise man Laughs”

Countless men
Who have climbed the mountain
Are trying to forget
That they left without knowing any better
The answer to their questions.
As they return home
An old Wise man’s laughter
Echo’s from on high
Into the valley bellow
They took it all
Way to seriously.

It really depends on what you would find comfortable you could even bring a friend if that made feel easy. Some people like to meet up for dinner, concerts, bars, dance clubs, book stores, movies and I would be delighted to do any of those things. As for me at some point, assuming it is not winter I enjoy parks. I think long walks like we did as children are the best ways to have one on one conversation to get to know people. I don't mind crowds once in a while, but there so much to know, so much to think and talk about.
