This is it people, crunch time. Summer is drawing to a close and sooner or later we'll be wearing long sleeves and carrying umbrellas.

Let's get out now and enjoy these last rays of sunshine and blue skies.

Let's take a walk thru Grant Park when there is no festival, just the fountain and flowers and quiet(minus the traffic on LSD). Let's enjoy the museums and farmers markets. Lets make this summer one to remember. Let's get out there and have some fun.


I have a deep love for the CUBS! Not really a great Sox fan, but if you are, no grudges here. I also love the Bears and Hawks (Kane got railroaded). Anyone remember the Chicago Bruisers? Or the Sting? If you do you may be old enough for me...LoL. So yes, I love Chicago sports. I cant wait for Chicago to get the Olympics!

I love a good movie and some good music. From old black and white movies, to the classics of today. Mostly action and even the stupid comedies are good too. Some of my faves would be: Vacation, Blues Brothers, Wizard of Oz, Caddyshack, John Wayne movies, and alot more. I cant pin em down just now.

Music-wise Im pretty open from Country to Classical. From Reggae to Rumba. Not too much into the rap and such. Well at least you wont find it on my music collection.

And I guess Im just here like everyone else, to find that someone cool to spend some time with. Its a great city with great summer activities that are truly un-fun to do alone. So why not join me.......you don't know what you're missing.

I am one who enjoys some of the simpler things. There are a thousand and one ways to have a good time in this town. Rain or shine. Lets find a few. Even a game of mini-golf is fun as hell too. This city has so much to offer, and so much I have yet to do and if you haven't done it either than that makes it more fun. Lets go tear this city up!


But remember, to be thrifty, not cheap. If we dont buy a meal at a restaurant, it may mean a waiter out of a job. Spend wisely, not foolishly.
