I am well-educated, well-traveled, well-mannered and well-armed with a great sense of humor (though the joke above may not be the best evidence of that).
I believe in friendship, honesty and laughter. I believe in chivalry; I am a romantic. I am looking for a friend, someone with whom I can think aloud. Someone to laugh with, create and share experiences. Someone who has passion in their life, because passion makes the spirit glow. Someone who is not afraid to leave being a grown-up behind from time-to-time. And won't be uncomfortable when I leave it behind from time-to-time myself. We'll have some interests in common and together explore those we don't. Being active is good, but there is a time and place for relaxing with a movie or a fire. A passport is important too- it's a big world out there and it's more fun seeing it together. A big part of my life is my beautiful 12-year old son who lives with me half the time; he is the source of much joy in my life. I am down-to-earth, honest, caring, and faithful to everyone in my life.
A couple of things I've learned about relationships: honesty, trust & communication are paramount; the relationship you had/have with your parents DOES matter; give self-centered and selfish people a wide berth; don't think you can "fix" someone; and if Honesty and Fidelity aren't part of the first act, don't stick around for any more of the play.
I'm looking for someone to create some beauty with, to share with and have fun. Ideally, my best friend. Someone with whom each of us can grow. Someone with her own passion and independence, and the desire to share the former and respect the latter. And someone who has time to share so all this can happen. Is it you?
