I grew up in NY but had an overwhelming desire to go out West. I did - to Seattle. During those years, I worked in the Dot-coms until the tech bubble crashed and many of my friends had to move back to where they started from, so I have times when I travel a lot. There are also tons of stories from those times.

So I shifted gears to firefighting. Yes, I was one of those hot guys haulin' hose and running into burning buildings. Oh, wait - I still am!

After a while, I moved more into the medical field and finally decided to head back East to become a paramedic for FDNY. I still miss the beauty of the Pacific NW with Mt. Ranier as a backdrop, but NYC has its charm as well - there's always something fun to do.

Right now, I'm interested in meeting intelligent, adventurous women capable of carrying a conversation on a wide range of topics whether in jeans or a little black dress. Integrity is a must, as well as a pretty face. Definitely know when you need manners and class. Also, anyone around me will need to be independent, healthy and fit in both body and mind, since I'm still very busy for most of the week and am not interested in playing therapist. Think you're up to the task?

It's way easier to meet people while out and about than online. If you think you can change that, get off your butt and let's go for that coffee!

The only way to really find out whether you'll get along with someone is to meet in person and I'm a busy guy, so if you're just going to email constantly, don't waste my time.

I'm not going to go to a movie or dinner with you right away. I want to get to know you, not some fictional character or the food. We can start off with coffee or a drink and conversation, maybe a walk through Central Park. That way we quickly get a good feel for whether we like each other without some huge obligation.
