Well first off im new to online dating sites, so this is kind of a learning curve for me. That being said, I like to try new things and hey you "Never know until you try"...or so they say :s. Im past the 'just dating' stage in life and i am looking to meet the right person for a long-term relationship. Im hoping to find a "keeper"; Im not here to waste my time or yours :).
About me...Im an intelligent, educated, young professional that is looking to meet like-minded people. I value honesty, trust, loyalty and integrity. I am the type of person that treats people exactly how I would want to be treated; especially in a relationship. I believe that mutual respect is a MUST. Im at the point in my life where im interested in quality not quantity, so if I send you a message you can be sure I actually read your profile and didn't just look at your pic and think "shes hot, give'r a go" haha.
I take my career very seriously and work hard at reaching my personal goals and achieving my dreams. There is only one way to get what you want in life; earn it. Im not the typical, lazy guy who is worried more about his hair cut, his eyebrows, his car, and pretending to be successful than he is about actually making something out of himself. I don't mean to hate on people, it's just that far too many guys talk the talk, but know NOTHING about actually achieving something. Im not all tough though, I know how to go out and have a good time when the moment is right. I'd like to think im a healthy balance of both worlds. In my spare time I like to spend time with friends/family, and enjoy some of my hobbies. I would also like to travel more often, and doing so with the right partner would be great :). Oh yah, and I like to party sometimes too! Ok, thats all I got for now.
I do have some pictures, as i know chemistry is important. Since my picture is up for all to see, could you please attach a picture with your message; its only fair :).
Good luck and happy hunting..or fishing..whatever the case may be.

I guess it really depends on the situation. I don't think theres a "one size fits all" first date. Usually something casual is best for the first time we meet.
