A dream becomes a goal when action is taken towards its achievement.

I have the heart of a Southern Californian but am originally from the east coast. I love meeting new people, communicating, asking questions, challenging the obvious, being annoyingly cute and clever, and finding out just how people work. I can be really silly and spontaneous but generally only get that way around those to whom I am close. From experience, I can definitely say I'm not for small-souled women.

My goal is to be some sort of errant intellectual and artist. I studied bioinformatics as an undergrad and don't mind being asked what that means, though it's always exciting to meet someone who already knows. I have co-founded one non-profit org and one company. I have been an illustrator to a recently published book and several magazines as well as skateboard designer for purely personal pleasure, (hope you appreciate the alliteration :). I have been published in a leading scientific journal for my work on the human genome and that's enough self advocacy for today. I have been fortunate to live a life full of privilege, I want to give back to the world and the ones I love as much as I have been given.

An exploratory conversation over a warm cup of tea at a relaxed public location. Depending on how that goes grab a bottle of wine and find a breathtaking view for further conversation that might be a little too risque for the ears of the local barista.
