I am a 33 year old single mom of a 5 year old boy that lives with me full-time. He is my priority, so I do not date when he is with me. He goes to his dad's every other weekend, so that is when I have free-time to date/socialize. I am a very easy going, low maintenance chick - I "clean up" pretty well, but I'm usually a jeans and t-shirt kinda girl. I love country music and usually end up in country bars or concerts during my free-time. I am open to all types of music (except Crap, I mean Rap) but country is my fav. I love Angels baseball and take my son to games almost twice a month during the season - and when we aren't at the stadium, we watch the game or listen to it on the radio. I am a certified scuba diver and have traveled to the Cayman Islands and Fiji on dive trips. I haven't been in the water in a while - too cold to dive in Ca :O) - but I love it. I just graduated from CSUF with my BA in English and plan to pursue a teaching credential - I want to teach English at the jr. high level. And no ... I'm not crazy or a saint! ;o>
I guess I'm looking for someone who accepts me for who I am - who can encourage and support me in my life's journey and allows me to do the same for them - someone who can enjoy the simple things in life and realizes that life should be lived, not just survived through. I would like to meet someone who has goals, drive and ambition - who sees life as a continual learning experience - someone who can laugh at themselves and appreciates the humor in everyday situations - and I guess the rest, we will just have to wait and see ....

I am incredibly easy going when it comes to dates, but I would prefer that you plan them - for some reason, anything I plan tends to go horribly wrong. I am willing to try anything once - food or experiences - so anything you come up with, I will give it a shot. As long as it's not something like getting your name tattoo'd on my ass - that might have to wait til the second date ... :O)
