When you get to know me you will discover that I am a "retread, " a professional musician (violist), sailor, pharmacist, librarian and college professor (medical economics).

My career as a symphonic musician has given me the opportunity to meet and work with many of the famous and not-so-famous musicians of our time. (The list is too numerous to mention at this time.)

In addition to my symphonic career, my music also has involved being the violist in a classical string quartet for over 12 years during which time I have played for everything from nursing and retirement homes to weddings.

My naval career took me to places such as England, Ireland, Bermuda, Puerto Rico, Massachusets and Connecticut.

My formal education was provided by the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy (B.S. degree) and Purdue University who awarded me my M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Pharmacy Administration.

My teaching has taken me to places such as Minnesota, Florida and now Stockton, California.

When you get to know me, you will find me willing to accept you as you are: to help you when you need me, and willing to let you be yourself, even to the point of allowing you to accept the consequences of foolish or bad behavior.

When you get to know me you will find that my priorities involve taking care of myself physically and mentally because without taking care for myself I can't care for others. I go to the gymnasium regularly and have a ribald sense of humor. I not only forgive others for things they do that hurt me, I forgive myself for making bad decisions.

Throughout this profile, I have said, "When you get to know me ..." There is only one way to do that: write to me. You have my word that if you write to me you will get a response.

My first date will be spent exploring and sharing common interests. The location would be a function of the nature of the interests.
