I'm a fun-loving, independent and serious-minded individual who enjoys spontaneity in any form. Taking long walks and conversing about anything and everything for hours on end would be my idea of a good time.

Having guests over is one of my favorite leisure activities, combining good food and drink with the company of family and friends. Gourmet cooking is my specialty and a favorite pastime (especially for those who really enjoy eating). Entertaining family and friends with live music and having sing-a-longs during special occasions can be great fun. However, serenading my sweetheart in private brings the most joy. I get pleasure from a wide variety of music, including New Age, Jazz, Blues, Rock and Progressive.

My tastes and interests run eclectic, from furnishings and decor, to artistic impression, and everything in between. Will appreciate a woman that knows how to dress for every occasion. I'm a snappy dresser myself, so she needs to be able to keep pace (or even set the tone all by herself). Have an affinity for the simplicity of things, from the way that furnishings are positioned and arranged, to the way a picture might be hung on the wall (personally, I am simply complex). Fastidiously neat, clean and tidy, but without being obsessive about it (so I've been told).

My perfect match would enjoy curling up together and watching a good movie as much as an evening out on the town. A woman of integrity having a sharp intellect really turns me on; especially if she's a brilliant conversationalist. However, her eyes and her actions should continually convey caring and warmth, even during those inevitably trying moments we all share. A glimmer in her eyes, combined with that certain "look of love" can be so endearing. Such a look would win me over no matter what the situation might be.

Having a 'soul mate' for my best friend and lover would make my life complete. I have a busy career designing upscale residences and custom homes. Thoroughly enjoy and have a real passion for my work. A fellow professional, or, a person that enjoys hearing about my daily experiences (in moderation of course) would be a real plus.

We would probably meet for an afternoon coffee intially to simply test the waters and determine the attraction quotient. Should a first date follow, it would include meeting at a public gathering place (but in a quiet setting) during the evening over ****tails. A second date consists of dinner, followed by a trendy film or a visit to a local club for some live jazz. A third date, might entail a concert at an indoor/outdoor venue (depending on the season), or, a visit to the art gallery. Over time, we'd begin traveling together. I enjoy pampering my lady and making the arrangements for our weekend getaways and trips to exotic destinations. It's a gradual progression as you can see; and yes, there will be more to come...
