Life's been good to me and I have been good to life, giving back more than I get. I moved to Tennessee two years ago and have enjoyed a more gentle pace. I meditate at my rock Zen Garden (I moved 13 tons of crushed granite and now have deer, rabbits and a fox enoying playing in the garden.) In 2007, I traveled to Alaska and Bermuda after moving to East Tenn from Orlando; in 2008 I traveled to Wyoming and Montana (am I the only one who thinks Mt. Rushmore looks like bobbleheards?) with my 18 year old daughter for her graduation. On her 16th birthday I took her to Ireland and London (I was a late, but loving, father). I Have been doing a lot of dancing (contra, line, ballroom, shag). I work with the VA, helping homeless vets start over. I like most music but not rapp. Recently enjoying opera, jazz, ballet, and classical but still like old rock and roll, blues and country) I am returning to blue grass (one better like blue grass in East Tenn!) I have my own home and found a BMW convertable for driving around the mountains (already have a Chrysler 300). I grew up in Baltimore, but lived in other big cities LA, Phoenix and Orlando, Vietnam). I always enjoy a long week-end in NYC.
I spent my time in Vietnam with the 101st in the infantry in a recon platoon, later picked up a few degrees (finished military and my BA in 5 years!) I an getting into masks, leatherwork and some drawing. I have started to get back to my writing, too
(I've had articles published and plays produced), so I keep pretty busy.
Okay, what I am looking for in my special lady:
1. I want to know if you are happy, if you are happy, you will be a blessing in my life. What makes one happy? Usually 3 things... 1.something to do; 2. someone to love
3. something to look forward to in life.
2. I want someone financially independent. I have enough income to be comfortable (note my BMW as my big boy-toy)and don't want to support someone else...share yes, support, no thanks.
3. If you are looking for motorcycles, keep looking. I owned one in my thirties and I have had too many friends who have been hurt while riding.
4. I want someone who likes to travel. There are still so many places to experience (see 1001 Places before I die and the 100 Best Road trips in America for ideas).
5. I want someone who enjoys intimacy. I am not looking for just for a roomie or a platonic relationship or a sex addict. Rock my world and I will rock yours, surprise me with your lustfulness.
6. I want someone who enjoys dancing. I want someone who understands that dancing is vertical foreplay and likes to be held by a man.
7. I want someone intellegent (not just educated) around my age, give or take 10 years who knows who Captain Kangaroo was, remembers the landing on the moon, listened to stereo, understands something about cell phones, the internet and computers and is still confused about this changing world.
8. I want someone in my life who still has curiosity about the would and awe about life.
